I have somewhat of an open-ended poll question.
MWC had over 250 episodes. However there were so many storylines they never
did. What is one you would have loved to see?

For me I always felt that they could have had a funny episode where they did a
flashback of Al and Peg's wedding.

Hmmmm...this is a great question, but nothing comes to mind right off
the bat. I'll have to ponder this a bit.

Yep, definite potential there!

I can't help thinking what they would've done if they were still going
when when Viagra took off...

Poor Al - then he wouldn't have dared to eat or drink anything at home -
if there ever was food at home - for fear of Peggy slipping him some and
taking advantage numerous times in the night.

I always wanted to see an episode where they actually showed Peg's
mother, but alas, not many people had wide screen TVs back then.:)

Oooh, good topic!

A serious romance for Kelly, where she gets dumped, not the other way
around.

Flashback to wedding, definitely.

Steve n' Marcy in divorce court, with their lawyers calling the Bundys
to testify.

Bud running for policial office.

Jefferson's family tracking him down and showing up en masse; turns
out he's not only a measly Canadian but a Fr*nch one at that!

Marcy didn't let the lack of that episode stop her from testifying!

That I would love to see. Bud making contradictory promises left and
right, hushing up scandals... Bud's perfect for it, because he's
enough of an underdog that the audience can root for him, but still
enough of a conniver that it's plausible for him.

This French-Canadian has trouble believing Jefferson Darcy as a
French-Canadian. Wasn't his father a stripper, er, exotic dancer?

Yep, I saw it as sort of like when Jimmy James ran for President in
NEWSRADIO. The best part was when the Press dug for scandal in his
love life and found--Amber. Just Amber. Sweet, girl-next-door,
unattached Amber. Unless you're against premarital sex to begin with,
that and a few college hookups were Bud's only sex scandals, how
embarrassing!

Yes, he was. But you gotta understand--French=comedy gold.
Canadians=comedy gold. Put 'em together, and you get comedy platinum!!
There's nothing that wouldn't be funny about French Canadians in the
Bundyverse!

If the show had gone on, I'd have liked to see the Bundy Curse pass
along to Bud, in the form of a wife and kid(s) - not necessarily in that
order.

Bud would come home with the bad news, Al would laugh his head off, but
then eventually share his sons woe - but still getting a laugh out of
Buds dilema every step of the way.

It would have worked best if Bud had a promisimg career oportunity on
the horizon, but his sudden family financial needs necessitated he drop
his longer goals for a short term summer job... you know how the rest
goes. His life mirrors Al's from that point on.

Kelly should have been doomed to a string of failed romances, with a
period of grief between each relationship of about 5 minutes!

That's exactly what I would have wanted to see!

Bud and Kelly were over 20 after about the 7th season. I would have wanted to
see some resolve around the characters. Since 'MWC' was supposed to be a sitcom
making fun of other family sitcoms, they should have had what most of the
others do....add the child's spouse to the show.

See Al and Peg react to there kid's new spouses, and maybe at the finale, one
of them has a child.

u know that the show was cancelled right? so even if they wanted to do that
they couldn't.
